PUBLIC NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF ARMADA

BOARD OF REVIEW
The Township of Armada Board of Review will meet at the Armada Township Hall, 23121 East Main Street, Armada, MI 48005 on the following dates to hear assessment appeals from property owners:
Monday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, March 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
FOR APPEALS IN PERSON, CALL 784-5200 FOR AN APPOINTMENT.
APPEALS MAY BE MADE BY MAIL TO: ARMADA TOWNSHIP ASSESSOR, P.O. BOX 578, ARMADA, MI 48005-0578 OR FAX TO 784-5211 IF RECEIVED BY 4 PM MARCH 13; OR HAND-DELIVERED TO THE BOARD OF REVIEW AT THE TOWNSHIP HALL PRIOR TO THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE BOARD ON MARCH 13.
March Board of Review will hold an organizational meeting at 3:30 on March 5, at the township hall. If necessary, the board will hold a final meeting on March 18 at 9 a.m. for as long as is necessary to conclude their paperwork and verify instructions to the assessor. No appeals will be heard at the organizational or final open meetings.
The final ratio of assessments to true cash values as determined by the Macomb County Equalization Department is 50% for all classes of property.

BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

TRUTH IN BUDGETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2019-2020 will be held on Thursday, March 14 - 7:00 p.m. at the Armada Township Hall, located at 23121 East Main, Armada, MI. “THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.” A copy of the budget will be available for public inspection at the Township Hall.

The Armada Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, printed documents for the hearing impaired, and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon eight (8) business days notice to the Armada Township Board.
